Goats
We raise Tennessee Myatonic Fainting goats - kids available in the spring. Let
me know if you'd like to be notified when they come.
We also raise goats for meat, fainter / boer / kiko crosses. Goat meat is a
delicious, under appreciated meat for most americans, but the #1 consumed
meat in the world.
We're working on getting a milk goat soon....

Turkeys
There is nothing like the flavor of a heritage breed free range Thanksgiving
turkey. It is rich and full of flavor, very complex but not gamey. Our turkeys are
slow grown and free range all around the park throughout the summer season.
We deliver fresh just before Thanksgiving and usually sell out fast! A $20

Waterfowl
We raise delicious muskovy ducks. White, fast growing and wildly entertaining,
our ducks love to play in the creek and visit the neighbor's pond whenever the
mood strikes them.

Sheep
Our pastures are full of Jacob / Icelandic / Finn sheep for wool and for meat.
These heirloom varieties are hardy and require less medicinal intervention than
most commercial sheep varieties. And the meat has a complex flavor.

Pigs
We raise our pigs outside with plenty of food scraps and grain and all the rocks
they care to eat, which is alarmingly a lot. They're a cross between Duroc and
Yorkshire. With all the pigs, we promise to name the all bacon and ham, no
matter how cute they are.

Chickens
We raise unique and heirloom varieties of laying hens. They are both attractive
birds and they lay excellent eggs varying in color from white to dark brown and
even green. Our laying hens are free range on pasture. Eggs are available
when they are laying for $3 a dozen.
We also raise cornish cross for meat. These chickens are large and delicious,
raised on lush pasture in the sunshine. Available summer into fall.
We're expanding this year into heritage breed chicken, similar to the poulet
rouge program in France. Details to come...

Beef
I keep a couple cows in the ample pastures up at where I work, because grass
fed is delicious, good for you, and great for the environment. Email to reserve a
half or whole side of delicious beef for 2011

Rabbits
We have rabbit meat by special request. Delicious rabbit stew is our specialty
for the ultimate in grass fed and sustainable meat. Very low environmental
impact.

We grow everything slow out in the pasture, without unnecessary use of antibiotics and absolutely NO artificial
hormones. We spend time with every animal here because we find that the a keen eye and an ounce of
prevention is worth a pound of cure. We grow just enough on our acreage to be sustainable and we rotate
grazing sites
